The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The position combines the art of process improvement, with compliance and business growth. Primary ownership of global standard operating procedures and compliance to standards is critical. Transforming and lifting data and insights to business teams elevates the role which can influence business strategy through high quality data collection.
- Drive process definition and standardization for customer incentive plans, point of sale data collection and quality, and chargeback business models
- Identify and activate automation and improvements increasing agility and quality while enabling growth for business teams
- Manage global timelines and be a technical subject matter expert for off invoice workstreams
- Guide and provide insights and reporting that enable business teams to define point of sale strategy
- Collaborate with BPO organization on key performance indicators, process improvements, and efficiencies.

- Leads the global strategy for Point of Sale (POS), Customer Incentive Plans (CIPs), and Chargeback customer enabling frameworks, process standardization, and continuous improvement
- Establishes and drives global operational process alignment across business groups to improve consistency, scalability, and effectiveness
- Identifies, prioritizes, and leads a portfolio of improvement opportunities and projects to improve customer experience, cycle time, compliance, and productivity
- Manages global governance for POS/CIP/Chargeback processes, including transaction improvements, exception handling, onboarding standards, and escalation paths
- Leads and supports global deployments of new technical solutions, tools, system enhancements, and automation capabilities to improve accuracy, efficiency, visibility, and customer experience
- Ensures stakeholders are served with transparency and visibility of tools, information, and insights that enable strategic business decisions and revenue attainment
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Seven (7) years of marketing, sales, point of sale, chargeback, customer operations, sales operations, finance, process excellence, or related operations roles in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in business administration, innovation, technology, data analytics, or marketing from an accredited institution
- Ten (10) years of marketing, sales, point of sale, chargeback, customer operations, sales operations, finance, process excellence, or related operations roles in a private, public, government or military environment
- Experience leading transformation initiatives across divisions, business groups, and functions
- Knowledge of 3M systems and processes related to POS/CIP/Chargeback operations
- Experience leading deployment of new tools, ERP enhancements, workflow solutions, reporting solutions, or automation capabilities
Work location:
- Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
Relocation: May be authorized
