Operations Team Lead – Intrabank Transactions
Job Description
Primary Objective:
Manage Financial Team and ensure accurate and timely operational delivery across all products within agreed SLAs, KRIs and/or KPIs and escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to the Section Head, Channel Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Financial Team and ensure operational delivery across all products within agreed SLAs, KRIs and/or KPIs;
- Responsible for the timely escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to the Section Head of Channel Operations;
- Responsible for the development and implementation of mitigation or control solutions within own area of responsibilities;
- Partner with Business Units and Technology Teams to implement new processes and systems, including participating in requirements gathering, reviewing business documents and support system testing..
- Ensure compliance to the Group’s policies, regulations and requirements.
- Ensure Operational Manual is reviewed and updated on a timely basis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree - Degree from a recognised university or institution.
- Min 8 years’ experience in Back Office / Branch operations in the Banking industry
- Min 3 years’ experience in managing an Operations team
- Very strong knowledge of latest banking regulatory requirements with proven record in managing banking operations for processing of financial transactions (Fixed deposit, GL entries, internal funds transfer)
- Very strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels
- Very strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Very strong understanding of banking platform and operating processes
- Able to work independently, lead a team and guide junior or new hires
