Laborer ($21.31/hr)

 

Atlas Roofing Corporation, a privately owned company, established in 1982, is an international and multi-divisional manufacturer of roofing, sheathing, facer, and insulation product solutions.

 

Atlas Roof Shingles, Underlayments and Ventilation is seeking a Laborer ($21.31/hour) for the Franklin, OH facility.

 

Laborer Primary Responsibilities

• Maintains housekeeping in the facility
• Responsible for following all plant and safety rules including all safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
• Performs cleaning duties inside and outside the facility including, but are not limited to, plant restrooms, locker rooms, break areas, basement, production areas and plant offices
• Assists with production and shipping department duties as required
• Operate forklift or bobcat as required to perform assigned duties
• General painting throughout facility
• Notifies Supervisor regarding any supplies needed to complete duties
• Any and all other responsibilities as assigned by supervision
• Regular and predictable attendance

Laborer Experience

• Must be able to work rotating shifts and overtime

Laborer Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Organization: Must have sound organizational skills in order to process job related data and in relation to work area materials and equipment
• Communication: Ability to provide relevant and timely information in a clear manner to coworkers and supervision.
• Follow Through: Fulfills the requirements of the position as described. Ability to follow-through on completion of assigned tasks in a timely manner. Anticipates what needs to be done and proceeds without direction in a timely manner
• Problem Solving: Ability to think through issues and develop solutions in a timely manner
• Team Building: Willing to work with others and utilize group dynamic to form solutions
• Language: Must be able to speak fluent English
• Mathematical Skills: Simple-add, subtract, multiply, divide simple numbers
• Reading Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Tools: Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure
• Specialized Skills: Must be able to pass forklift operators rest and safely operate a forklift and bobcat

Laborer Education, Licenses & Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED
