About the Role
We are looking for a technically accomplished Principal ATE Test Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of the design, development, and debug of ATE test programs for RF integrated circuits, spanning DC, RF, functional, and DFT testing. You will play a central role in new product introduction, driving test readiness from characterisation through to high-volume production, while working cross-functionally with Product Engineering, Design, and Operations teams. This role offers end-to-end ownership across the product lifecycle, with direct impact on yield, quality, and time-to-market.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and debug ATE tests for RF ICs, covering DC, RF, functional, and DFT test modes.
Develop and qualify Test hardware including load boards and probe cards.
Release production ready ATE test programs to manufacturing, coordinating final qualification and approval for high-volume test environments.
Drive NPI test readiness and manage the transition from characterisation to volume production.
Analyse test data for yield optimisation, correlation, and reliability across temperature and voltage corners.
Support product characterisation including limit setting, data analysis, and formal characterisation reporting.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Product Engineering, and Operations teams.
Required skills & experience
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, with 8+ years in semiconductor test.
Proven ATE test development experience for RF ICs on ATE platforms (Teradyne UltraFLEX preferred).
Strong understanding of RF test fundamentals, ATE methodologies, and wireless test standards.
Experience in validation, characterisation, and high-volume production testing of RF ICs and fully integrated SOCs.
Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, VNAs, power meters).
Solid Understanding with IC production test flows and the New Product Introduction process.
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
