POSITION SUMMARY: The Scheduling Lead is responsible for ensuring a smooth operation of the centralized scheduling for Rocky Mountain Health Care Services (RMHCS) program participants. Involved in the hiring, training, scheduling and leading the team of RMHCS Centralized Schedulers. Coordinates and maintains the schedule for internal and external appointments for RMHCS program participants made by RMHCS Centralized Schedulers. A monetary lead add-on of $1.25 will be applied to the range listed.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for the overall leading of Centralized Schedulers, including orientation training, and scheduling
- Assigns tasks fairly and appropriate to job responsibilities
- Helps manage and maintains the clinical schedules for all RMHCS program participants who require internal and external clinical services
- Meeting the needs of participants changing clinical services appointments needs with maximum flexibility
- Required to be cross trained for various centralized scheduling position duties such as, but not limited to, Cognify scheduling program, internal and external clinical appointment types
- Maintains strong customer relations with internal and external clinical providers
- Meet with participants face-to-face or on the telephone to discuss scheduling concerns
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- 1-2 years scheduling experience required; clinic scheduling required
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate the ability to interact clearly and effectively with both internal and external customers
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as outlook, excel and word
- Electronic medical record experience is preferred
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with participants, co-workers, vendors, medical staff, and the public
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
