Description
Schedule: This candidate will work the evening shift, 40 hours a week.
Finds purpose in providing care through food service, thrives in structured yet dynamic environments, and wants to support adolescents on their path toward recovery in a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve balanced, appealing meals for youth and staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen per safety standards
- Receive, store, and manage food inventory in accordance with procedures
- Adapt to shifting needs in a hospital setting
- Participate in relevant training and ongoing education
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience in quantity food production preferred
- Knowledge of JCAHO and Federal/State regulations and standards required
- Must possess cognitive, organizational, and emotional ability and maturity to deal effectively with multiple stressors, deadlines and difficult situations
Must have current food handlers’ card for participating county of operations
