***$17.00/hour starting pay – Eligible for Bonuses based on hours worked***

***Full time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm **

Summary of Position

The Application Specialist provides outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers by processing online applications for public assistance programs. 

Essential Job Requirements

• Screens applicants to determine if active case exists or application is pending
• Uses multiple complex computer systems to research, validate, update, and maintain case information
• Provides information to applicants, including rights and responsibilities
• Maintains accurate files, records, and reports to document communication, compliance, and resolution of issue
• Regular and timely attendance
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience

• Data entry and typing experience. Must be able to type at least 20 WPM
