Risk Management Analyst
Department: Operations
Employment Type: Part Time
Location: Huntington YMCA
Reporting To: Jeremy Stiles
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 / hour
Description
Key Responsibilities
- Data input and analysis.
- Assist in the identification and analysis of potential risks affecting the organization.
- Conduct risk assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of existing risk management processes.
- Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Participate in the preparation of risk reports and presentations for senior leadership.
- Monitor and analyze risk trends and provide insights to improve risk management practices.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the risk management database and documentation.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather information and ensure compliance with risk management policies.
- Support the team in conducting risk management training sessions and workshops.
- Maintain a professional image and manner consistent with the YMCA mission and goals at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the risk management team.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Prior internship or coursework related to risk management is a plus
- Ability to physically and verbally interact with members and staff
- May be required to sit or stand for extended period of time
- At times, be able to lift amounts up to 50 lbs
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
