Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the financial health of the organization by ensuring accurate financial reporting, conducting variance analysis, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting. You’ll play a critical role in identifying trends, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Job Responsibilities:


Key Job Responsibilities: 
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
• Performing account reconciliations.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Maintain and update financial spreadsheets and ledgers.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Assist with audits, budget preparation, and other accounting projects.
• Participate in physical inventory.
• Conduct or assist with fixed asset ledger.
• Calculate taxes and prepare tax returns in compliance with payment and reporting regulations.
• Assist with accounts payable, cost, tax, and accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and improve financial processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Participate in physical inventory.
• Assisting with other accounting tasks, as assigned by a supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookups, VBA, Macros); experience with ERP system Oracle Cloud is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Skills: 

• Experience with financial modeling or data visualization tools (Power BI)
• Knowledge of SOX compliance or internal controls.
• Understanding of corporate finance principles.
• Spanish proficiency highly desirable (25%)
