Position Summary

The Youth Housing Program provides trauma-informed, developmentally responsive care for youth, aged 13–17, with complex needs. As a Site Manager, you oversee the delivery of high-quality, youth-centered care through the leadership and supervision of frontline teams. You foster a safe, respectful, and relationship-based environment that supports youth wellness, stability, and growth, while ensuring program quality, operational effectiveness, and compliance with organizational, accreditation, and licensing standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight to frontline teams to ensure the delivery of trauma-informed, youth-centered care. 
  • Support staff in implementing harm reduction, crisis response, de-escalation, and safety planning practices. 
  • Oversee individualized youth care plans, programming, and transitions to promote wellness, life skills, and positive outcomes. 
  • Foster a relationship-based culture grounded in respect, empathy, collaboration, and strengths-based practice. 
  • Conduct supervision, performance management, coaching, and professional development for staff. 
  • Recruit, orient, train, and schedule staff to ensure effective 24/7 program coverage. 
  • Monitor program quality and compliance with accreditation, licensing, CARF, and occupational health and safety standards. 
  • Manage operational responsibilities including budgeting, payroll, reporting, documentation, and database administration. 
  • Review and respond to critical incidents, concerns, and grievances in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. 
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with families, community partners, and internal teams to support integrated service delivery.

Qualifications

Education

  • Degree or Diploma in Child and Youth Care (CYC), Social Work, Human Services, or related field.

Certification

  • Standard First Aid and CPR.
  • Suicide Intervention
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and vehicle
  • Proof of vehicle insurance (min. $2 million liability), registration and 3-year drivers abstract.

Experience

  • 4+ years’ experience supporting marginalized youth and vulnerable populations
  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience, preferably within a residential or community-based setting.
  • Knowledge and experience in harm reduction, trauma-informed, resiliency, and solution-focused practices.
  • Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills, capable of remaining calm in high-pressure situations.
  • Experience supporting youth facing complex barriers, including mental health, substance use, poverty, trauma, LGBTQ2S+ identities, and newcomer/refugee experiences
  • Proficient in MS Office and database applications.

  • Competitive Salary: $58,240.00 – $62,400.00
