Who we need
We are looking for a driven Head of Performance Marketing who raises the bar for everyone around them. You build and develop a high-performing team while staying close to the technical core of our campaigns. You don’t manage from a distance; you understand the mechanics, challenge assumptions, and continuously push for better results.
What makes this role unique is its scope. You are responsible not only for our in-house performance marketing but also for elevating the work of our 60+ people client campaigns team, powering entertainment campaigns across the globe.
Your mission is clear: use performance marketing to push JustWatch forward. You turn strategy into execution, ensure every investment delivers measurable impact, and help define how performance marketing should work at scale in our industry.
What you will be doing
- You are the driving force behind all the paid initiatives to further grow the JustWatch B2C platform
- Further build and develop the performance marketing team
- Continuously optimise our campaigns across all major platforms such as Google, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
- Communicate effectively across teams (Campaigns Team, Creative Team, BI and MarTech) to constantly evolve and adapt it to meet the entertainment market's rapidly changing needs.
What we need from you
- Unrivalled hands-on knowledge of TikTok, Meta, and Google Media Buying, understanding of Programmatic buying on Smart TVs is a plus
- Disruptive attitude toward our campaign setup strategies
- You are a person who analyses performance, understands the details, and understands the effectiveness of each campaign.
- You have a balanced approach to test and learn when it comes to performance marketing.
- Marketing background, Quantitative Market Research experience, Information Studies, Computer Science, and Performance at scale
- Years of experience with online marketing setups
- Proven leadership skills
- Great command of English. Any other language (especially German) is a plus
- And a “no bullshit” attitude
