As Banquet Waiter / Waitress, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional and memorable event experiences, ensuring each function is executed seamlessly from preparation through to completion. More than simply serving food and beverages, you will contribute to creating a refined and engaging atmosphere, where every detail enhances the guest experience. This role is ideal for a service‑driven individual who thrives in a dynamic events environment and takes pride in delivering excellence at every stage of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up banquet spaces, including tables, linens, glassware and service equipment in line with event specifications
  • Provide attentive and professional food and beverage service during events and functions
  • Assist with event preparation, service and breakdown to ensure smooth operations
  • Transport and organise equipment, supplies and materials efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and events teams to ensure accurate and timely service
  • Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalised service throughout the event
  • Clear, reset and maintain event spaces to the highest standards throughout service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all banquet and back‑of‑house areas
  • Support colleagues and assist with operational duties to ensure event success
  • Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times
  • Uphold company standards of service, presentation and professionalism

  • Previous experience in food and beverage or event service, ideally within a luxury hotel or high‑end environment

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and engaging approach

  • A collaborative approach, working seamlessly with events, kitchen and service teams
