Job Description

Role Purpose

As Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for driving customer engagement, retention, lead generation and revenue growth through data-led marketing initiatives.

You will own and optimise the company's marketing automation ecosystem, leveraging HubSpot to deliver targeted communications, automate customer journeys and provide actionable insights that support commercial objectives.

Working closely with Sales and Leadership teams, you will develop segmentation strategies, execute multi-channel campaigns, improve customer experiences and continuously identify opportunities to increase marketing effectiveness and return on investment.

This position requires a commercially focused marketer who combines analytical thinking, technical expertise and creativity to deliver measurable business outcomes while taking ownership of marketing projects from concept through execution and performance evaluation.

HubSpot Ownership & Marketing Automation

• Act as the primary owner and subject matter expert for HubSpot across the business.

• Design, implement and optimise automation workflows that support lead nurturing, customer retention and sales enablement.

• Maintain CRM data integrity, ensuring accurate customer records and segmentation.

• Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into marketing performance.

• Manage customer journey mapping and lifecycle automation programmes.

• Ensure adoption of HubSpot best practices across all marketing activities.

• Evaluate new HubSpot functionality and recommend enhancements that improve operational efficiency and customer engagement.

Customer Segmentation & Communication Strategy

• Develop and maintain customer segmentation models based on behavioural, demographic and commercial data.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to create targeted communication strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Design engagement programmes tailored to customer lifecycle stages, purchasing behaviour and growth opportunities.

• Support customer retention, loyalty and reactivation initiatives through personalised communications.

• Continuously review segment performance and refine targeting strategies to improve effectiveness.

Marketing Automation & Campaign Delivery

• Plan, execute and optimise integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

• Build automated customer journeys that support acquisition, retention, cross-selling and reactivation objectives.

• Define campaign objectives, KPIs and success measures before launch.

• Conduct A/B testing and performance optimisation to improve engagement and conversion rates.

• Monitor campaign performance and implement data-driven improvements.

Customer Communication Channels

• Develop channel strategies that align with customer preferences and engagement behaviours.

• Manage and optimise communications across email, WhatsApp Business, SMS, website and social media channels.

• Evaluate channel effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement and conversion.

• Explore emerging technologies and communication platforms that support customer growth initiatives.

Direct Mail & Customer Engagement

• Develop targeted direct mail programmes for priority customer segments.

• Coordinate engagement initiatives designed to strengthen customer relationships and increase retention.

• Track campaign effectiveness and return on investment.

• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver impactful customer-focused initiatives.

Content Creation & Marketing Assets

• Develop and manage marketing content across digital and print platforms.

• Coordinate the production of brochures, promotional materials, product launch assets and sales collateral.

• Manage relationships with agencies, designers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.

• Maintain brand consistency across all marketing communications and assets.

Website & Digital Marketing

• Manage website content to ensure accuracy, relevance and commercial effectiveness.

• Develop landing pages, lead generation assets and conversion-focused website content.

• Support SEO initiatives and website performance improvements.

• Coordinate digital promotional activity and online campaign execution.

• Monitor website engagement metrics and recommend optimisation opportunities.

Marketing Analytics & Reporting

• Establish KPI frameworks that measure marketing performance and commercial impact.

• Analyse customer behaviour, campaign performance and engagement trends.

• Produce regular reports with actionable recommendations and strategic insights.

• Identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency, customer engagement and return on investment.

• Use data-driven decision-making to support future marketing initiatives.

Marketing Planning, Ownership & Accountability

• Develop and maintain annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with business objectives.

• Identify opportunities from customer data, market trends and sales performance.

• Lead the implementation of marketing initiatives from planning through execution and evaluation.

• Manage priorities, timelines and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.

• Demonstrate measurable business impact through marketing activity and performance reporting.

Education & Experience

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in Marketing Automation, Digital Marketing, CRM Management, or Marketing Project Coordination, ideally in a fast-paced or commercial environment.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot, including CRM management, marketing automation, workflows, segmentation, and reporting.

  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, SMS, WhatsApp, website, or social media).

  • Solid understanding of customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and data-driven marketing strategies.

  • Experience working with commercial teams (Sales, Operations, or Management) to support lead generation, retention, and revenue growth objectives.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable marketing insights and performance improvements.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • Proven hands-on expertise with HubSpot, including marketing automation, workflows, CRM management and reporting.
