Warehouse Operator

Responsibilities:

· Shift time:-Mon-Fri, 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

· Prior warehouse experience.

· This position fills the need to undertake warehousing operations that encompass several functions.

· Material handling functions include dock operations, movement, storage, tracking, and pulling and locating chemicals and packaging components.

· The receiving function processes incoming material and loading data into SAP.

· Initial acknowledgement of material is also done here.

· Component order processing, tracking, activity reporting, inventory deducts, and deviation investigation are part of this function Use of powered material handling equipment up to and including operator-up turret stock picker is required. Safe handling of chemicals, supplies, and equipment while ensuring compliance with all regulations is expected.

· Safety conscious of themselves and others

· Operation of powered material handling equipment

· Proper lifting techniques

· Math skills including unit of measure conversion

· Data entry and updating using computers, scanning devices, and written logs

· Effective communication skills

· Problem solving
