Position Summary

The Calibration Technician is responsible for performing calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of measurement instruments and electronic equipment to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong knowledge of metrology principles and hands-on experience with electronic systems and instrumentation.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Perform calibration of a wide range of measurement and test equipment, including electrical, mechanical, dimensional, and pressure instruments.

· Apply metrology principles to ensure measurements meet accuracy, traceability, and uncertainty requirements.

· Calibrate electronic devices such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, data acquisition systems, and other test equipment.

· Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain calibration equipment and electronic instrumentation.

· Document calibration results, maintain records, and generate calibration certificates in compliance with ISO or applicable standards.

· Interpret technical specifications, schematics, and engineering drawings.

· Perform periodic inspections and preventative maintenance on laboratory and production equipment.

· Ensure compliance with internal quality systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

· Support audits by providing calibration data and documentation.

· Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and recommend corrective actions.

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
