Job Description
- Run day-to-day line operations to meet plan adherence and deliver the right quantity at the right quality, safety, OEE, and cost in line with schedule and cross‑functional requirements (PQCDSM).
- Supervise and organize the shift team ensuring compliance with procedures; foster an Autonomous Maintenance (AM) engaged culture and support SME maturity.
- Manage shift handover and past‑24h performance reviews, coordinate updates/repairs, and ensure issues are closed out.
- Administer workforce scheduling (workstation assignments/rotations, training, vacations, breaks, overtime, back‑ups for absences, shift rotations).
- Safeguard product quality by monitoring conformance to specifications, escalating defects, and completing daily QDI.
- Lead continuous improvement: conduct RCAs, share learnings, and implement initiatives to reduce direct material and conversion costs, following international best practices.
- Own HSE and housekeeping across the process area to meet legislative and company standards.
- Prepare timely, accurate reports aligned with Savola and departmental requirements.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and Packaging; liaise with suppliers and consultants as needed.
- Develop people & performance: coach operators on KPIs, build synergy across production areas, and drive a proactive, continuous‑improvement culture.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Experience: 3–6 years in production; pasta industry experience preferred.
- Technical competencies: Production operations; Quality Management; Lean Six Sigma; Autonomous Maintenance (AM); methods to overcome manufacturing defects; strong analysis & pattern recognition.
- HSE mindset and cross‑functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
