Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced AVEVA E3D Administrator to manage and support 3D design environments for large-scale engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administration, configuration, and optimization of the AVEVA E3D platform, ensuring seamless project execution and data integrity across disciplines.
Your role
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain AVEVA E3D environments for multiple projects.
- Manage project setup, database creation, user access control, and project configurations.
- Ensure integrity, consistency, and security of E3D project databases.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines (piping, structural, electrical, instrumentation) for effective model integration.
- Perform regular backups, system monitoring, and troubleshooting of E3D-related issues.
- Customize and manage specifications, catalogues, and templates within E3D.
- Support design teams with technical assistance, best practices, and issue resolution.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with project standards and company procedures.
- Manage upgrades, patches, and integration with other AVEVA tools (e.g., E3D Design, Engineering, Diagrams).
- Mentor junior administrators/designers and provide technical guidance
About you
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Instrumentation / Civil or related field).
- 8 to 12 years of experience in AVEVA E3D / PDMS administration. Strong hands-on experience in E3D project administration, database management, and system configuration.
- Good understanding of 3D design workflows across disciplines.
- Proficiency in AVEVA tools and related software environments.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or EPC projects.
- Familiarity with AVEVA suite (e.g., AVEVA Diagrams, Engineering, PDMS, SP3D interoperability).
- Knowledge of industry standards and multi-discipline engineering practices.
- Experience in automation, macros, or scripting within AVEVA environment is an added advantage.
