What will you be doing? 

As FSSC Finance Team Lead EMEA, you report to the FSSC Director EMEA and lead a team of finance professionals across Credit Management and Subject Matter Experts in R2R, L2C, and Accounts Payable. 

You will take ownership of complex accounting, reporting, and compliance activities while continuously enhancing processes, tools, and ways of working. Working closely with the Tax & Compliance team, Payroll team, and FSSC LATAM team, you ensure efficient, accurate, and future-ready financial operations. 

In this role, you will balance hands-on involvement in complex financial matters with a strong focus on leadership, continuous improvement, and automation of finance processes. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead, coach, and develop the FSSC EMEA teams (Credit Management and SMEs), fostering an inclusive and high-performing team environment 
  • Drive continuous improvement and lead automation initiatives within FSSC EMEA, including ownership of the automation lab 
  • Oversee complex accounting, reporting, and compliance topics, including statutory audit support and resolution of high-impact financial matters 
  • Improve and streamline month-end closing processes to enhance accuracy, transparency, and cycle efficiency 
  • Identify root causes of financial or process challenges and initiate sustainable, data-driven improvements 
  • Strengthen balance sheet control and build capabilities of balance sheet owners across the team 

 

What do we ask from you? 

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline 
  • Proven experience ((Min 5 years and at least 2 yrs as a team lead) in finance operations, shared services, or accounting leadership roles in an international environment 
  • Strong expertise in accounting process knowledge is a must have. 
  • Experience and interest in continuous improvement and automation of finance and accounting processes 
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and leading cross-functional initiatives 
  • Experience in people leadership, coaching, and team development, with an inclusive leadership style 
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and statutory audit processes 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across regions and functions 
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 4936 to € 6699 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
