We are looking for a Manufacturing Lead to join our team. As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will be responsible for production planning and inventory control for multiple products while prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay. This individual will take a lead role in continuous improvement, product flow and capacity improvement to improve the overall efficiency of manufacturing while service level targets.

SUMMARY

Working under little to no supervision and following detailed verbal, written, and hands-on instructions. Manage a team of operators to meet productivity and quality goals by performing the following duties. Additionally, the Manufacturing Lead plays a key role in leading daily operations on the production floor, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving team performance through effective leadership and continuous support.

SCHEDULE: Nocturno 4 x 3 Miércoles - Sábados (6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Coordinate, support, and follow production activities in a hands-on manner on the manufacturing floor, ensuring compliance with approved procedures (WIs, OPs, EOPs).

  • Lead and manage a team of operators by assigning daily tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring productivity and quality targets are achieved.

  • Monitor production performance hour by hour (e.g., production boards/metrics), identifying gaps and driving corrective actions.

  • Provide continuous support and presence on the production floor, ensuring proper execution of processes.

  • Resolve minor team conflicts, provide coaching, and support employee development.

  • Promote a positive and respectful work environment while maintaining discipline and accountability.

  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in audits and support corrective actions when required.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, waste reduction).

  • Effectively communicate with supervisors, peers, and support functions regarding production issues and updates.

  • Accurately complete production documentation (logbooks, reports, tracking systems).

  • Reassign personnel as needed to maintain line balance and operational efficiency.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure compliance with safety standards.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma required.

  • Technical degree or studies in Engineering (Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial or related) are a plus.

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing environments (preferred).

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in leadership or supervisory roles.

  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (medical devices preferred).

  • Intermediate to advanced English (reading, writing, and communication)

  • Intermediate Excel knowledge is preferred.

  • Ability to use PC systems and manufacturing software tools

The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, chemicals, and other environmental conditions typical of a manufacturing setting.
