Department: Porter Hills Village | Dining Services Department | Health Center
What You'll Do:
As a Dining Server in our Health Center, you’ll play an important role in supporting residents in our skilled nursing area. Beyond serving meals, you’ll help enrich the daily lives of those we care for. Using a ticket system to ensure accuracy, you’ll prepare beverages, serve meals, engage with residents, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment. This role is about more than food service—it’s about creating meaningful connections and contributing to the comfort and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Watch tickets and run a tray line.
- Serve meals to residents and guests with a smile and a friendly demeanor.
- Take orders and ensure accuracy of orders.
- Cater to special dietary requirements and restrictions.
- Clear tables and maintain a clean and organized dining area.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
- Experience in food service or as a server, preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
