Associate Trademark Watch Analyst

We are looking for an Associate Trademark Watch Analyst to join our highly regarded Global Trademark team at Clarivate, Noida. This is an amazing opportunity to work with a global team which is required for successful trademark of clients’ IP rights. The team consists of 12-15 colleagues and is reporting to the Operations Manager. We have great skills set in team and we would love to speak with you if you have a very strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to liaise with internal teams and regional stakeholders


About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  
 

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
• The candidate should preferably have 0-2 years of experience in operations
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpretation and comprehension skills
• Equipped at using MS Office tools such as Excel, Power Point and Word

• Someone who have Trademark Experience.
• Advance MS office tools knowledge – Excel
• Self-starter with ability to multitask and prioritize across projects to meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail, results orientated, enthusiastic, determined to achieve and shows commitment.
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and with a team.

        What will you be doing in this role? 
 

• Analysis research requests and develops an effective search strategy based on trademark, goods similarity, and international classifications, as well as product scope.
• Formulates queries using various search engines such as Google and Compu Mark proprietary databases, to retrieve pertinent references that show potentially confusing or infringing uses of device and word trademarks, domain names, and/or business names. 
• Analysis data retrieved and selected the most pertinent references for inclusion on trademark research reports for delivery to customers.
• Works with mentors to ensure research approach results in high quality trademark research reports.
• Provides internal feedback and recommendations to management on opportunities to improve quality or processes. 
• Completes trademark research reports or other assignments in a timely manner according to the turnaround schedule promised to the customer or internal deadline.
• Completes applicable training to learn all job-relevant systems and information, such as Trademark Fundamentals, Hit Selection, Introduction to IRIS application, Introduction to Products, Overview of the Customers, or other specialized database/product training.
• Manages daily production including completing all assigned trademark research tasks according to expected delivery time frame.
• Ensures search and/or watch reports are completed within the timeframe promised to the client or internal deadline.
• Ensure to meet business expectations or standards such as Efficiency, Quality and Utilization.
• Supports team and contributes to team objectives for all fundamental activities including research and customer support.
• Maintains an active understanding of the intellectual property (IP) industry and online research and grows knowledge of relevant technologies/services/industry events to improve personal skills and gain a better understanding of customer needs.
• Performs additional duties as required

About the Team   

The position is for Associate Trademark Watch Analyst in Global Trademark team. This team is responsible for trademark customer’s portfolio to ensure safety of their IP rights.

Hours of Work  

• 40 working hours a week with flexible time between 08:00AM – 08:00PM (IST) and this is a permanent role.
• Monday- Friday
