At Seneca Hill Animal Hospital, we are looking for a motivated, skilled, and compassionate Surgical LVT to join our growing AAHA-accredited hospital team.

What You’ll Do

As a Surgical LVT at Seneca Hill, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety, surgical excellence, and exceptional client care. Responsibilities include:

• Inducing and monitoring anesthesia
• Intubating patients
• Monitoring surgery, recovery, and patient vitals
• Assisting veterinarians with surgical and medical procedures
• Performing dental cleanings, charting, and dental radiographs
• Collecting blood samples and preparing lab submissions
• Administering medications, fluids, and supportive therapies
• Taking diagnostic radiographs
• Preparing and maintaining surgical packs and autoclave equipment
• Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment notes
• Providing exceptional patient care and client communication

What We’re Looking For

• Current Virginia LVT license
• Strong anesthesia and surgical monitoring experience
• Dental experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Calm, compassionate, and detail-oriented under pressure
• Passion for high-quality medicine and patient advocacy
