Job Description
Overview Role Overview We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our new business development initiatives, focusing on managing the end-to-end process of pitches and Requests for Information (RFIs)
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the media industry, strategy function exposure and possess exceptional project management and communication skills
Key Responsibilities Pitch and RFI Management Lead the development and execution of pitches and RFIs, ensuring alignment with client objectives and agency capabilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including strategy, creative, media, and analytics, to develop compelling proposals
Oversee the creation of pitch materials, ensuring they are persuasive, accurate, and reflect the agency’s strengths
Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure timely submission of all pitch and RFI responses
Internal Coordination and Operations Serve as the central point of contact for all pitch-related activities, facilitating communication and collaboration among internal teams
Develop and implement processes to streamline pitch operations and improve efficiency
Maintain a repository of pitch materials, case studies, and credentials for easy access and reference
Market and Industry Analysis Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform pitch strategies
Conduct research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities
Analyze client needs and market conditions to tailor pitch approaches effectively
Client Prospecting Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and positioning the agency as a strategic partner
Orchestrate client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating the agency’s value proposition
Collaborate with account teams to ensure a smooth transition from pitch to onboarding upon winning new business
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred
Proven success in leading and winning pitches and RFIs
Strong understanding of media planning and buying processes
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
