Job Title: Financial Analyst
Department: Revenue Integrity
Location: Hybrid (Onsite & Remote), Riedman Campus, 100 Kings Highway, Rochester NY 14617
Hours Per Week: 40
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift, Monday to Friday, (8 am -4:30 pm)
Position Summary:
Extrapolates data from multiple sources, organizes, analyzes, and presents to requestors based on the business need identified.
Key Responsibilities:
Collects and studies data to determine costs of business activities
Analyzes financial data and extracts and defines relevant information
Interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability
Performs moderately complex statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data
Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis
Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Interprets financial transactions and events for users who make business decisions.
Applies a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; verifies documents for compliance with government and private agencies.
Uses various software applications such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate, and/or format data and/or reports.
Acts as backup to MMIS Application Specialist and performs related functions as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Business, Finance, or Information Systems, or a combination of education and relevant work experience
Zero to five years relevant work experience
Crystal Report Writing
Proficient analytical skills with knowledge of financial and accounting concepts
Demonstrated understanding of operational statistics, both qualitative and quantitative
Proficient Microsoft Office Skills: Excel, Access, Power Point, etc
PMM Software and reporting tools, desired

PAY RANGE:
$62,400.00 - $70,000.00CITY:

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
