NXP is building new teams in Catania to create high impact microcontrollers (MCU) as part of NXP’s intelligent AI at the Edge. This team will include a wide range of engineering talent from analog to SOC digital design. Full product development local will produce world-class products at a world-class pace.
This team will include all key engineering disciplines in Design, Architecture, Verification, DfT and Physical Design to produce high performance and quality products.
We are now hiring a Mixed Signal Verification lead responsible for ensuring high quality designs that meet requirements by working closely with designers and systems engineers and creating simulation test cases, models, checkers and alike.
Job Responsibility:
- Work with the global design teams to develop complex SOC with a high degree of quality standard.
- Verification strategy for mixed signal designs and systems.
- Create verification plans and traceability of requirements to ensure they are covered.
- Create functional models of analog blocks using system verilog for use in SOC system verification.
- Create AMS models of analog blocks and sub-systems to verify electrical behavior of mixed signals systems.
- Run simulations and track coverage of verification plans.
- Ensure high quality tape outs and A0 silicon to production.
- Post-silicon debug support, helping the team to identify and fix silicon issues to meet new products performance and reliability.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Masters degree is preferred.
- 5+yrs of production mixed signal verification.
- System Verilog modeling experience required.
- Assertion, checkers, and similar digital verification experience highly desired.
- Ability to visually inspect analog circuits and/or digital blocks to grasp their main functionalities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
