Overview

Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of electrical equipment in the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Complete preventative maintenance tickets (PM’s)
  • Inspect electrical equipment daily
  • Installation and repair of equipment
  • Inspect production lines daily
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures
  • Work with shift operation supervision to advise equipment down time as required

Qualifications

  • Training or technical degree in industrial electricity with extensive experience in:
  • hydraulics & pneumatics
  • PLC and Inverter drives
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
  • Know and understand electrical principles and electronics
  • Knowledge of diverse electrical equipment
  • Proficient with electrical instruments, hand and power tools
  • Experience working on high bay overhead cranes
  • Excellent safety and attendance record
  • Strong communications skills
