EMT (Per Diem)

About the Role The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is responsible for delivering pre-hospital Basic Life Support (BLS) to patients of all ages and backgrounds in all weather conditions. Working under the supervision of an EMS Supervisor and alongside other EMS personnel, the EMT assesses, treats, lifts, and transports patients using appropriate equipment and techniques. The role includes completing required documentation, supporting efficient EMS operations, and representing University Hospital and EMS with professionalism and integrity.
