What are we looking for?
The industrial Engineering Co-op student will support the IE Team through collaborating with various cross-functional teams to collect data used for various projects/reports. This role will aid with initiatives that improve value stream performance through tracking waste/performance tracking, managing continuous improvements, and developing visual representations of real data.

- Knowledge and prior use of Microsoft Apps (Excel, Power Point, PowerBI, Power Automate)
- Currently enrolled an post-secondary education related to Engineering (Mechanical, Automation, Chemical)
- Strong analytical , written, and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in Manufacturing (Nice to have)
- At least In 2nd year of post-secondary school (Nice to have)
- Previous experience with VBA coding (Nice to have)
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Managing incoming Continuous improvement ideas (Initiation to completion) that target loss elimination/reduction
- Time studies for various manufacturing processes
- Reporting of different manufacturing KPIs
- Development of visual illustrations of data
