Job Description

What you’ll do:

 

  • Ensure quality of product
  • Develop and manage internal quality processes and documentation
  • Carrying out process-related checks in accordance with instructions and working on various projects
  • Promotion and representation of customer interests within the organisation
  • Drive the External Customer Complaint Management (tracking of Analysis and implementation of Corrective Actions) by using problem solving tools (8D, A3, error messages)
  • Develop and manage internal quality processes and documentation, authorization to intervene in all areas of production if errors occur (including stopping production)
  • Support successfully the implementation of new products qualitywise according change managment, APQP, Pro-Launch and EQMS policies
  • Carrying out process-related tests in accordance with test instructions with the associated test equipment
  • Coordination with suppliers/supplier complaints
  • Demonstration of improvement activity CI
  • Decision on usability and conformity of parts
  • Driving the quality metrics to world class benchmark in accordance to the PMCC integrated management system
  • Further development of the ISO 9001 management system, Support of the management system for ISO 14001/ ISO 45001 / ISO 50001 / ISO 22301
  • Monitoring compliance with existing/new/changed customer requirements
  • Identification of possibly affected shipments during transport to and from customers or suppliers
  • Knowledge in MSA, FMEA, SPC, APQP, DoE, Collaboration in FMEAs
  • Supporting the implementation of Six Sigma projects
  • Carrying out incoming goods inspections, carrying out process audits and process monitoring
  • Internal representation of customer interests with regard to quality requirements
  • Collecting and implementing (new / changed) customer requirements in co-operation with the specialist departments
  • Planning and carrying out training courses in connection with new / changed customer requirements in collaboration with the specialist departments

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Technical education (Apprenticeship, secondary technical school), Electrical engineering or other related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years experience in Quality assurance.

 

Skills:

 

  • Understanding manufacturing technologies and processes
  • Understanding of customer and market requirements
  • Basic knowledge in standards for management systems not quality related (eg. ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001) preferable.
  • Six Sigma knowledge is will be an additional advantage
  • English required
  • German will be an additional advantage
