Job Description

We are seeking a senior data and analytics leader to drive enterprise analytics transformation, enabling data‑driven decision‑making and delivering actionable insight on claims performance and cost drivers

The position will lead data and analytics transformation to enable analytics‑driven business operations across claims and cost‑containment initiatives

The role focuses on establishing a robust spend cube, surfacing claims trends and cost drivers, tracking performance across three key sources of value, and providing engineering and architecture oversight

Key Responsibilities Analytics‑Enabled Business Operations Define and embed analytics‑enabled operating models that translate data into actionable insights for business decision‑making

Enable consistent measurement and performance tracking across cost, utilisation, and payment integrity initiatives

Spend Cube & Performance Analytics Establish and govern a robust enterprise spend cube to surface claims trends, cost drivers, and utilisation patterns across LoBs

Define and oversee analytics frameworks to track performance across the three agreed sources of value, ensuring transparency and comparability

Engineering & Architecture Oversight Provide strategic oversight on data engineering, analytics architecture, and solution design to ensure scalability, reliability, and consistency

Set standards for data models, pipelines, and analytics assets aligned with enterprise architecture principles

Claims Performance & Cross‑LoB Insight Provide senior oversight on claims performance analytics across multiple lines of business

Identify systemic drivers of cost, leakage, and variation to inform enterprise priorities and interventions

Performance & KPI Delivery Own delivery of analytics‑related KPIs, including timeliness, insight quality, adoption, and impact on cost and utilisation outcomes

Ensure analytics investments deliver measurable value in line with approved business cases

Qualifications & Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Data, Actuarial, Computer Science, or Business 10+ years experience preferably within insurance sector, with strong analytics leadership Deep understanding of claims performance and cost drivers Experience working across business + IT / data architecture Core Competencies Strategic, outcome‑driven mindset with strong commercial awareness Ability to translate complex analytics into executive‑level insight Strong influencing skills across business, analytics, and IT stakeholders About AXA Hong Kong and Macau AXA Hong Kong and Macau is a member of the AXA Group, a leading global insurer with presence in 52 markets and serving 92 million customers worldwide
