Technical Analyst – Entry Level @ CGI

Join a team where creativity is encouraged, paths are flexible, and global resources are within your reach—all while enjoying the local engagement you value.This position is in Lafayette, LA in a hybrid working model.How You’ll Make an ImpactDesign, develop, test and implement new technologies and applications.Provide end-user assistance in a helpdesk environment.Support technical architects with infrastructure requirements.Conduct project code reviews and assist with software installations/configurations.Investigate, debug and troubleshoot software and application issues.Develop and build application modules using multiple programming languages.Draft technical documentation and user guides.
What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.Solid understanding of configuration management and the systems development lifecycle (SDLC).Working knowledge of scripting and automation techniques.Experience or familiarity with SQL, Java, and C++ (preferred).Strong analytical mindset paired with exceptional written and verbal communication.A collaborative spirit, high curiosity, and a drive to learn.Ability to work in the U.S. permanently and without restriction.
