Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.

As the Workforce Development Governance and Alignment Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating our global learning strategies with Micron’s ambitious goals. This position plays a critical part in maintaining the flawless operation of our learning systems, nurturing the growth and development of our talent worldwide. You will engage with cross-functional teams to apply trusted governance approaches and scalable learning solutions, enabling our workforce to thrive at the highest level.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

WFD Alignment & Governance Leadership

  • Serve as the primary global contact point for Workforce Development teams seeking to integrate with the Degreed LXP, providing guidance and oversight throughout design, rollout, and ongoing operations

  • Lead collaborative design sessions with WFD global teams to define role-based learning requirements, entry/growth pathways, and embed systems thinking in curriculum, while clearly representing LXP’s structural capabilities and limitations

  • Establish and maintain a robust governance framework for learning content and pathway development across divisions, enforcing taxonomy, metadata consistency, lifecycle protocols, and standards for quality and compliance

Enablement & Decentralized Deployment

  • Develop and deliver train‑the‑trainer and intake programs for regional WFD and learning teams, ensuring clear handoff, adoption of enterprise standards, and ability to execute locally at site-level

  • Design consumable playbooks, toolkits, and audit routines that regional teams can use independently—minimizing escalation and rework

Cross-Workstream Integration

  • Collaborate with Global LXP workstreams (Skilling & Curation, Pathways, Platform Ops, Data & Insights) to embed governance, deployment support, and WFD alignment into each phase of design and release

  • Represent WFD considerations in product roadmap discussions, ensuring system updates reflect real-world needs

Performance Measurement & Optimization

  • Implement a WFD-aligned measurement framework tracking LXP uptake, assignment completion, pathway progression, and pathway success—linked to business outcomes

  • Analyze platform data to identify underutilized learning, misalignments, or training gaps, and proactively work with WFD partners to resolve

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Deep experience in learning operations, WFD governance, or learning systems alignment.

  • Strong consulting and collaborator alignment skills, comfortable leading strategic conversations globally.

  • Proven ability to build decentralized capability through enablement programs and toolkits.

  • Data-driven orientation, able to interpret platform signals and collaborate to close usage gaps.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • 7+ years in global L&D build/delivery, workforce development, or people operations at scale.

  • Proven success managing relationships and bringing operational structure to large multi-region rollouts.

  • Experience in large, matrixed organizations (e.g., Fortune 500, global manufacturers).
