Endo Tech Part Time Baptist Health Surgery Ctr Eastpoint

Baptist Health Surgery Center at Eastpoint is looking to hire a qualified and experienced Endoscopy Technician to work part time, 24 hours weekly. The Tech works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and/or physician to support the safe and efficient operation of the outpatient endoscopy center. This role is responsible for assisting with all aspects of endoscopic procedures, including patient preparation, procedural support, and post-procedure cleanup. The Endoscopy Technician plays a critical role in maintaining a high standard of patient care, infection control, and equipment readiness.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Knowledge of endoscopy equipment, cleaning, and high-level disinfection processes strongly preferred

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to follow directions and maintain professionalism in patient care settings

• BCLS due within 90 days of hire date

Work Environment:

This position is based in a hospital outpatient surgery center and involves frequent interaction with patients, physicians, and clinical staff. The role requires standing for extended periods, handling medical equipment, and adherence to strict infection control protocols.
