The Division
The Property Department is committed to providing integrated, customer-centric, sustainable and cost effective asset management, development management, project management and facilities management services to the key Business Units in the Club.
Job Summary
This role is report directly to the Deputy Executive Manager, Property Facilities Management and responsible for the operation & maintenance of the Clubs Building Management System (BMS) which includes the implementation and review of the building management strategies, operating models, strategies and plans to support the Club’s various services and operational functions in the most effective and efficient manner. The SMPFTS is also responsible for BMS development for new Club strategic projects, system improvement and cyclical replacement. In addition, he/she will work closely with the entire FM team to drive FM technology.
He/She acts as Project Manager to undertake projects of energy efficiency improvement works, identify of energy saving opportunities energy, management reporting establishment, supporting energy audit and retro-commissioning works. He/She works closely with the Property Development / Project Management Section for reviewing the building services design and controls aiming to achieve optimum energy efficiency and the Club Sustainability Department for formulating and implementing the sustainability improvement measures.
The Job
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the Building Management System (BMS) to support building operations, monitoring, and energy efficiency
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for BMS with defined SLAs and KPIs; monitor contractor performance for all assets
- Conduct energy audits and implement energy-saving initiatives to improve system efficiency and eliminate waste
- Recommend and drive efficiency improvement measures to support sustainability targets and achieve cost savings across property assets
- Identify and apply energy-saving technologies for capital projects; develop and maintain energy monitoring systems and support energy budgeting
- Monitor energy consumption patterns and investigate deviations; liaise with utility providers to optimise tariffs and support operational efficiency
- Provide technical support for new BMS implementation in strategic projects; prepare and monitor electricity, water, and gas budgets while ensuring cost control
- Maintain and update BMS manuals to standardise operations and ensure data integrity
- Build and manage a competent BMS team through recruitment, training, and development to deliver high service standards
- Lead integration of FM technologies (e.g. IoT, digital solutions) to enhance system performance and enable centralised monitoring
- Assess staff competencies, identify development needs, and implement training and succession plans to support team capability and continuity
- Apply industry best practices in facilities management; introduce new technologies to improve reliability, service quality, and cost efficiency
- Perform other ad hoc duties or projects assigned by management
About You
- A postgraduate qualification in Engineering or Business Management is preferred.
- 10 years relevant experience in related technical field and be conversant with BMS, data network, energy cum carbon management, controls and building services technology.
- Experience on develop and maintain BMS, Power Monitoring System and Data Network.
- Experience on energy audit, identify and implement energy saving measures.
- Technical skills and experience in leading/managing complex building operations, maintenance and assets upkeep.
- Good leadership, organizational and problem-solving skill : Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and communications with stakeholders and suppliers.
