SUMMARY:
The following is a brief description of responsibilities to be performed by the Warehouse Worker III. The Warehouse Worker III is responsible for handling returned merchandise from the retails stores and administratively the RMA paperwork for these items. This position includes but is not limited to all phases of the returns process, the timely and efficient processing of paperwork, processing of items to be returned to the back stock warehouse and vendors. Confirming all inbound shipments to Ecommerce to verify the vendors are complying with Tilly’s Compliance Manual. The Vendor Compliance Clerk will also need to be able to match UPC’s and match quantities to packing slips on the order for the shipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verify SKU numbers against lead sheets and Buyers QC sheet.
- Verify quantities against lead sheets and Buyers QC sheet.
- Sorting product by size, sku and color.
- Inspect garments/products for damages and defects.
- Deliver samples of garments/products to specific buyers for inspection.
- Obtain signatures on Buyers QC sheet and match approved documents back to shipment for processing.
- Verify all notes and adjustments to quantities (Buyers keep QC sample) have been documented on Buyers QC sheet in order to ensure proper system receipt in the Control Room after processing is completed.
- Assists the processing teams with opening cartons, sorting and induction of garments/products into the processing lanes.
- Assist processing teams, as needed.
- Follow Tillys procedures for handling biohazard materials such as soiled clothing or blood stained items.
- Verifies receipt of store transfers on a daily basis.
- Verifies carton content paperwork against the merchandise received.
- Verifies quantities received.
- Performs inspection of garments returned for defects and damage.
- Identify and report all shortages and/or damage to product from retail stores to the RTV Lead or RTV Manager.
- Removes sensors, tickets, and hangers for garments scheduled for return to the vendor.
- Assist in preparing & packing of garments being returned to the vendor as needed.
- Use PC to retrieve data.
- Handle & secure high dollar items as described in the policy and procedure.
- As a team member, provide backup coverage as required.
- Work on Donation & Sample Sale assignments as necessary.
- Maintain an orderly neat work area.
- Move & Stage cartons or merchandise in designated area based on disposition of the garment/ items.
- Confirm merchandise is shipped to Tilly’s requirements, poly bag, packed individually and UPC ticket.
- Inspects conditions of items comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list.
- Identify damaged merchandise and possible UPC discrepancies
- Great communication with vendors and internally about inbound shipment discrepancies
- Track/log vendor compliance issues on detailed Excel spreadsheets
- Communication with the buying department of shortages and overages on a purchase order.
- Be familiar with warehouse environment and procedures

- Ability to handle medium physical labor while juggling multiple products at the same time.
- Be familiar with warehouse environment and safety procedures.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Basic Computer Skills
- Researching and problem solving.
- Individual must possess basic math and counting skills
- Hold Accountability and understand the higher expectations that are set.
- Knowledge of PKMS or other Warehouse Management Systems
- Able to operate RF equipment

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a warehouse setting. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as standard warehouse computer systems, and machinery. POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position, Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, anywhere from 5am-1130pm with the possibility of working weekends. Weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
