Job Description:
The Manager, Patient Relationships and Adherence is a strategic execution role within the U.S. Commercial organization. This role plays an important role within the patient marketing team. Success in this role requires close interaction and communication with internal functions and external partners, including patient advocacy groups. This position is responsible for creating and leading tactical initiatives primarily with patients to support the uptake and adherence to our products. Products include TARPEYO and Envarsus XR.
A successful candidate for this position will be patient-focused and have a desire to grow within the patient Marketing Team.
The base compensation range for this role is $125-150K. Base Compensation is influenced by many factors including, but not limited to: time in the role, previous experience, skills, knowledge, performance, work requirements, internal equity, and business / economic conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Advocacy
- Organize bi-weekly meetings with Patient Advocacy Organizations; not limited to managing agendas, maintaining notes, and distributing follow-ups
- May be required to attend workshops and national meetings of organizations; note, weekend travel may be required
- Works with Senior Director to evaluate sponsorship opportunities vs. strategy to determine support level and allocate budget within advocacy designated spend
- Provide brand requests to external organizations as well as develop specific MLR-approved content for sponsorships
Patient Marketing
- Assist with market research projects to effectively analyze customer insights, brand performance, market trends and competitive response
- Execute select programs; some may be in collaboration with other Marketing team members
- Lead contact of Patient Ambassador program; not limited to recruitment of new patients, working with agency partners to maintain database and support execution of any Ambassador video shoots to gather content
- Cross-functional engagement strategy and collaboration with Operations, Medical, Legal, Sales, Compliance, and Market Access
- Coordinate with Medical team on Clinical Trial initiatives and recruitment
- Coordinate with Corporate Communications on internal patient-focused value initiatives
- Effectively manage agency partners, the budget, and appropriate allocation of resources
Patient Adherence
- Work closely with the Senior Director, US Patient Marketing and key matrix team members to contribute to the overall strategy for TARPEYO and TARPEYO Touchpoints
- Maintain and update adherence-focused initiatives through TARPEYO Touchpoints program
- Partner with Market Access Team and specialty pharmacy partners to enhance HUB programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or commercial operations environments
- Experience supporting tactical execution within brand marketing, field teams, or commercial functions
- High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and sound professional judgment
- Fosters an environment of learning, open communication, and teamwork to maintain and expand capabilities
- Rare disease/high-value experience is preferred
- Takes initiative and works independently to successfully work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands
- Strong tactical planning, project management, communication, and organization skills
- Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions
- Weekend attendance at patient events may be required
