Role:
Responsible for assisting members with their commercial loan applications, processing and making loan disbursements.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
40% - Sets up new loan files and organizes existing loan files within the department.
15% - Audits new and existing loan files for completeness, accuracy, and exceptions; including updating data on the Core to reflect changes in file attributes and other file maintenance issues that arise.
10% - Files and/or ensures loan documents are filed with the appropriate agencies, including but not limited to lien placements, final title policies, mortgage recordings, and UCC's.
10% - Works with the Commercial Credit Analyst to update and maintain the Tickler and Monitoring spreadsheets related to contining servicing of loan files (including financials, covenants, etc.)
10% - Assists Commercial Loan Officers with the monitoring and ongoing disbursement of existing loans, ie: construction loan monitoring and line of credit advances.
5% - Prepares/Monitors loan notices, reports, and documents as required.
5% - Answers member phone calls
5% - Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
