Working Location: Hung Hom, Kowloon City

Employment Duration: Permanent / 2-Year Contract

We are looking for an energetic, innovative and highly motivated professional to join the Strategic Planning & Innovation Branch of the Retail Strategy & Product Portfolio Management Department. Reporting to the Principal Manager – Strategic Planning & Innovation, the appointee will be responsible for the following:

Major Duties:

  • Develop customer engagement and innovation initiatives using lifecycle-based approaches to drive sustainable behavioural change and long-term value related to energy efficiency and conservation (EE&C), sustainability, smart meter development, and next-generation customer experience. 
  • Proactively collaborate with other line departments and coordinate cross functional teams to translate strategic initiatives into practical programmes and initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency and customer excellence. Formulate KPIs and other strategic goals to monitor effectiveness, make recommendations as needed.
  • Track and support enhancement of digital engagement channels and platforms and leverage customer interaction data to inform engagement strategies refinement and continuous improvement of initiatives.
  • Explore customer segments and partnership opportunities to enhance reach and effectiveness of engagement initiatives. Conduct research and analysis to offer strategic insight on opportunities and risks including regulatory environment and energy industry development. 
  • Coordinate innovation initiatives, including consolidation of insights across projects, alignment with corporate innovation directions, and articulation of value propositions and strategic narratives.
  • Prepare presentations, reports and business cases for senior management. Contribute to change management efforts, such as staff engagement activities, to ensure successful strategy adoption and integration. 

 

Requirements:

  • A recognized University degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related disciplines, plus at least 6 years of relevant working experience in customer engagement, retail strategy, and/or customer-facing initiatives implementation.
  • Understanding of the Company's business, operating environment in Hong Kong, customer engagement practices in Hong Kong, and energy retail practices overseas.
  • Experience in customer-related initiatives, customer engagement programme development or implementation, with exposure to lifecycle-based and data-informed approaches preferred.
  • Strong problem solving, commercial and analytical skills, demonstrating business mindset and critical thinking in identifying business opportunities and evaluating initiatives.
  • Familiar with digital platforms, customer interaction channels, and data analytics for tracking performance and improving engagement effectiveness is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across functions and present insights clearly to different audiences, act as a change agent in collaboration with operational teams.
  • A committed team player with open, lively and enthusiastic personality, adaptability to change, and a willingness to meet new challenges.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
