We are seeking a talented individual to join our Controller Team. This role will be based in Bogota, Colombia. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office
Account Receivable Supervisor Oversees day-to-day AR operations and ensures SLA compliance. Reviews and approves aging reports and month-end close data, coordinates deliveries to Treasury/GL Accounting, and manages escalations. Leads automation rollouts, handles audit requests, approves controls and write-offs, and consolidates KPIs to drive improvements.
We will count on you to:
- Oversee and ensure day‑to‑day AR activities and SLAs
- Review and approve weekly aging reports for distribution
- Review and approve month‑end closing data
- Ensure timely submission of data to Treasury/GL Accounting and perform related coordination tasks
- Coordinate internal and external escalations and manage cross‑functional inputs (Treasury, GL Accounting)
- Lead operational rollout for automation/system changes (Projects lead)
- Primary contact for audits and management of compliance with requests
- Approve processes and cash application controls for the team (daily operational accountability)
- Approve proposed write‑offs
- Consolidate KPI / SLA reporting and drive improvements (DRO metrics)
- Consult Senior Analyst on complex reconciliations/matters
- Inform Manager on SLA performance, aging trends, and complex unsolved escalations
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in same roles, preferably within the insurance industry and experience in team leadership.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with fluency in English and Spanish. (Level C1)
