How you'll make an impact The Product Owner will work closely with Gallagher Bassett's global business and IT organizations to accomplish the following objectives: Be a leader in establishing strategies to leverage data, AI and analytics to achieve business objectives and drive successful outcomes for both Gallagher Bassett and its clients. Collaborate with business stakeholders and data & analytics professionals to prioritize initiatives, define project goals, and ensure successful execution of Product initiatives. Oversee and lead the execution of product journeys, coordinating and aligning the efforts of product, analytics, data science, IT, and business resources to achieve desired outcomes. Establish governance processes to ensure product initiative prioritization and execution are aligned with business benefits. Devise implementation approaches that produce products that are flexible, maintainable, and adaptable as business needs evolve. Drive change management processes for the implementation of new products. Be a leading contributor to ideas for using data, AI and analytics to improve competitiveness, quality, responsiveness, and efficiency. Drive organizational awareness on the latest advancements in AI & analytics, address ethical considerations, and foster continuous learning to drive innovation. RESPONSIBILITIES: Business alignment (contributor): Ensure Product initiatives and strategies are aligned with GB business’ overarching goals Stakeholder engagement (leader): Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including executives, business leaders, IT and external partners Business IT project management (partner): Team with IT project leader(s) in managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources Monitor and evaluate Product initiatives (leader): Progress and performance of Product initiatives, tracking key metrics, and evaluating their impact on business outcomes Team collaboration & mentorship (contributor): Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to team members, to ensure the team's overall success Continuous learning (leader): Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements, industry trends, and best practices in Product space About You Required: Bachelor's degree; 8 years of related experience Thorough knowledge of the insurance brokerage industry Preferred: Advanced degree Consulting experience including Change Management Business Consulting Project Implementation disciplines Behaviors: Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to partner and consult with all levels of management Energetic, self starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment Entrepreneurial spirit and consummate team player Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position.
