This position develops and implements infection control plans, including testing, vaccinations, and outbreak response. The role maintains accurate health records, provides staff education, and ensures regulatory adherence through inspections and reporting. It includes conducting risk assessments, making recommendations on cleaning and disinfection practices, and reviewing relevant policies. The RN Infection Control operates independently within a correctional facility and may travel as needed.
