Your Purpose
As Shop Seller, you will deliver outstanding retail experience to guests by providing professional, friendly, and attentive service within the onboard boutiques. You will support daily retail operations, maintain high presentation standards, and contribute to creating a welcoming shopping environment aligned with MSC Cruises’ hospitality values. This role is essential in ensuring smooth retail operations, supporting teamwork onboard, and delivering consistent service standards across the fleet.
Your Impact
You will contribute to guest satisfaction and onboard retail success by actively engaging with guests, promoting products, and supporting sales performance through excellent customer service. By maintaining organized displays, assisting with stock handling, and ensuring compliance with operational procedures, you will help create an efficient and enjoyable shopping experience onboard. Your professionalism, flexibility, and positive attitude will support strong collaboration within the retail team and contribute to a high-quality guest experience throughout the cruise.
Your Journey So Far
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
• High school graduate or equivalent qualification
• At least 1 year experience as sea-going Shop Seller with another cruise line
• Successful completion of MSC Cruises’ department change procedure is considered an advantage
• Alternatively, at least 1 year land-based retail experience as Shop Seller or equivalent retail role
• Experience in customer service and sales environments
• Ability to work in multicultural and fast-paced environments
• Previous cruise ship experience preferred

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
• Fluent spoken and written English (minimum B1 level required)
• Additional European languages are considered an advantage depending on itinerary
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Sales-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
• Professional appearance and guest-focused approach
• Team player with flexibility and adaptability
• Ability to work onboard for extended periods in an international environment
• Organized, reliable, and proactive approach to daily operations
