Salary £25,989-£28,142 Per annum | Permanent| Full Time - 37 hours per week

Pupil Access Business Support Officer (Grade 5)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Support Officer to join our friendly and supportive East Pupil Access Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the vital work of Lancashire County Council’s Education and Children’s Services.

Location: Lancashire House, Enterprise Way, Accrington (BB5 0FL)| Contract: Permanent, full-time (5 days per week)


About the role

In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll provide high-quality administrative support to operational staff, managers, partners, and members of the public. Your work will directly support services that make a real difference to children and families across Lancashire.

Knowledge & experience

You’ll ideally have administrative experience and confidence using Microsoft Office and databases. Strong organisational skills will help you manage a varied workload effectively.

You’ll work with managers, families, colleagues, and partners every day—so clear, professional communication and the ability to listen and understand others is key.
