Job Title:

Lab Technician - RMS

Summary:

Provide laboratory support by performing routine experiments, sample preparation, materials evaluation, and data documentation. The role focuses on independent execution of standard laboratory tasks, supporting product development, applications evaluation, innovation projects, and laboratory operations under general supervision in a safe manner.

Responsibilities Include:

Perform routine laboratory experiments and sample preparation under general supervision to support product development and application evaluation.
Independently carry out sample testing, material evaluation, and raw material qualification following standard laboratory procedures.
Record experimental data and observations accurately in accordance with laboratory notebook requirements.
Prepare basic reports, charts, and summaries of experimental results and share findings with the manager or project team.
Maintain safe laboratory operations and support 5S and EHS compliance.
Assist with laboratory administration tasks, including procurement support and routine lab coordination.
Other tasks assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

B.S./B. Tech or Diploma in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Fluent in written English.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, with strong attention to detail, high initiative, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good collaboration within team and other cross function.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
1-3 years of laboratory experience. Experience working with polymers, silicones, or coatings is a plus.
Ability to organize information and communicate effectively within team in English.
