Job Summary
Wentworth Health Partners (WHP), an affiliate of Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and member of Mass General Brigham Medical Group, is growing our Endocrinology team at our state-of-the-art practice located at 10 Members Way in Dover, NH.We are currently hiring Triage Registered Nurses for both 32-hour part-time and per diem opportunities!
In this role, you'll provide patient care primarily over the phone, independently assessing patient symptoms, medication questions, and chronic disease concerns related to endocrinology, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other hormonal conditions. You'll use established triage protocols to support clinical decision-making while working closely with providers and the care team to ensure patients receive timely, high-quality care.
Although this is predominantly a telephone triage position, there will be occasional in-person nurse visits as needed.
Our practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with schedules determined based on practice needs. The 32-hour position is ideally four 8-hour shifts, while the per diem role offers flexible scheduling to help support the team's coverage needs.
We do our best to keep all employees in their assigned practices and locations; however, you may also be asked to float to other departments in the WHP system when appropriate and needed during times of staffing shortages/other extenuating circumstances for cross-coverage purposes and to ensure adequate coverage and support.
Responsible for patient care and support within our hospital's outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.

Essential Functions
-Deliver direct patient care and support in our ambulatory care unit, ensuring high nursing standards.
-Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
-Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
-Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
-Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
-Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
Education
Associate's Degree Nursing required
Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - required
Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - preferred
Experience
Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred
