Job Description
Qualification:
• Minimum HND in Mechanical, Chemical,Materials, or Metallurgy Engineering, or CLIENT-approved equivalent; Engineering Degree preferred.
• 8+ years (Degree holder) or 10+ years (HND holder) experience in inspection, mechanical integrity, maintenance, or NDT operations in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory or management experience leading multidisciplinary inspection or technical teams.
• Strong technical awareness of inspection workflows, corrosion mechanisms, NDT methods, RBI concepts, offshore operations, materials, welding, and repair practices (not
required to be a deep specialist).
• Able to interpret inspection reports, anomalies, NDT results, and integrity findings with support from Technical Authorities where required.
• Familiar with BSP Work Management Procedures (WMP), SAP4HANA, CIRRAS, and COMPANY inspection processes.
• Awareness of advanced NDT technologies (PAUT, TOFD, LRUT, SRUT, PEC) as required by contract scope.
• Completed mandatory HSSE and management courses including NEBOSH/IOSH, OPITO H₂S, Accident & Incident Investigation, RPO, and BOSIET (if offshore deployment is required).
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 17020, QA/QC processes, and statutory requirements for pressure systems and asset integrity.
• Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and contractor performance management capability.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills for interaction with COMPANY representatives.
• Upholds COMPANY and BSP Ethics & Compliance standards.
