Assistant Band Director-Middle School and High School

Iowa Park ISD is currently accepting applications for a Middle School and High School Assistant Band Director for the 2026�2027 school year. The district seeks a highly motivated and dedicated music educator. A woodwind specialization and color guard experience are preferred; however, all candidates with appropriate qualifications and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities include leading and coordinating middle school band activities for grades 6�8 and assisting with all components of the high school band program, including color guard. Applicants must hold a valid Texas teaching certificate or be eligible to obtain certification prior to the start of employment. The position also requires possession of, or the ability to obtain, a Commercial Driver's License with a passenger endorsement.
