Job Description

About Search Atlas Group

We're a scrappy, fast-growing SaaS team that clawed our way to $32M ARR without ever taking a dime of outside money. We build marketing tools that actually do the work instead of just sitting there looking busy in a dashboard. We move fast, we laugh a lot (sometimes at ourselves), and we genuinely care about the humans we bring on board. If that sounds like your kind of chaos, keep reading. đź‘€

The Opportunity

Search Atlas is at an exciting inflection point. We’re rebuilding and scaling our product experience, and we need someone who can shape what that looks like from the ground up. This is not a seat at a large design team. You’ll be the designer. The work is fast, the feedback loop is short, and the impact is immediate.

You’ll own design end to end: from early wireframes to final handoff, collaborating directly with product managers, engineers, and leadership. This role grows with the company. If you build well and communicate clearly, there’s a real path to leading a design function as we scale.

What You’ll Do

AI-Assisted Design
  • Use AI-based design tools daily to accelerate ideation, wireframing, and prototyping

  • Stay ahead of emerging AI tools and actively bring them into the workflow

  • Push the boundaries of what’s possible by using AI to move faster and design smarter

Product Design and Execution
  • Lead end-to-end design for key product features, from concept to delivery

  • Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes in Figma

  • Deliver designs that are intuitive, visually polished, and ready for engineering handoff

Design System and Consistency
  • Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency across all product areas

  • Document components and patterns clearly so engineers can build with confidence

  • Identify gaps in the system and proactively close them

User Research and Insight
  • Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to inform design decisions

  • Analyze user behavior using analytics tools to surface UX improvement opportunities

  • Translate research into actionable design improvements

Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the build process

  • Present design concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholders

  • Communicate proactively, flag blockers early, and stay aligned without needing to be managed

Who You Are (Must Have)

  • Experience in product or UX/UI design, ideally within a SaaS environment

  • Strong, active working knowledge of AI design tools (Figma AI, Galileo, Claude, or similar). This is a must, not a bonus

  • Strong Figma skills with a portfolio that shows real problem-solving, not just pretty screens

  • Solid grasp of user research methods including interviews, surveys, and usability testing

  • Experience maintaining or contributing to a design system

  • Energized by startup pace. You don’t need everything to be defined to do great work

  • Exceptional communicator. Clear, direct, and proactive. This is non-negotiable

  • Business professional English communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Mixpanel, Hotjar, or similar)

  • Experience as the sole designer on a product team

Recruitment Process

  1. Initial screening call with our recruitment team

  2. Technical assessment to showcase your skills

  3. Interview with our Hiring Manager

  4. Final interview with our Leadership

  5. Offer extended
