Performance realities will always exist, but we use these constraints to push, not limit, our creativity.   The Accounting Manager will be instrumental in promoting operational excellence, enhancing financial transparency, and supporting profitability initiatives. Ideal candidates will bring a strong foundation in hotel accounting, a disciplined and analytical approach, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position provides a clear pathway for professional growth within Omni Hotel & Resorts.   The salary for this position is $75,000/year based on experience.   Responsibilities: Own financial accuracy: Review daily revenue activity, reconcile general ledger accounts, and resolve discrepancies to ensure precise reporting Lead core accounting functions: Oversee payroll, accounts payable and income audit functions Drive insights and profitability: Analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and expense trends to identify opportunities for improvement Strengthen controls: Develop and maintain policies and procedures that ensure strong financial governance Lead and develop a team: Provide coaching, training, and clear direction to build a high-performing accounting function Ensure compliance: Monitor adherence to Omni finance SOPs and report irregularities as needed Validate ledger activity (guest, city, and deposit) Support accurate revenue recognition with the night audit team Ensure Reporting with timely and accurate month-end close Support operational reporting: Generate labor, revenue, and ad hoc financial reports Assist with compliance filings: Contribute to monthly sales tax preparation and submission   Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent GED required, degree in finance or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in an upscale or luxury hotel in accounting or finance. Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Exemplary communication skills, math skills, strong leadership skills, and customer service skills are vital. Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software.
