Senior Safety Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, supplemented by a minimum of three years of professional experience. <br>• Proven experience in manufacturing operations. <br>• Ability to interpret and apply industry standards and regulatory requirements, including NFPA, ADEM, EPA, DOT, ANSI, OSHA, and DOD. <br>• Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and presenting Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) metrics to stakeholders, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. <br>• Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels. <br>• Must be able to pass OSHA Hazwoper Medical Evaluation and, if necessary for emergency response, wear an SCBA respirator.<br>• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and must have at a minimum an interim Secret security clearance prior to start.<br>• Ability to work additional time outside of normal work schedule.<br>• Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations.
